Mounting the CD under UNIX Operating Systems.

Before using the CD-ROM on UNIX operating systems the CD device/media must be mounted by the operating system on a suitable mount point.

Log in as Superuser and create a directory (if one is not present) called /cdrom:

mkdir /cdrom

Place the SX update CD in the CD-ROM drive.

When using SCO Openserver mount the device using the command:

mount -r -f ISO9660,filemode=444 /dev/cd0 /cdrom

When using SCO UNIX 3.2.4 mount the device using the command:

mount -r -f HS /dev/cd0 /cdrom

When using SCO Unixware mount the device using the command:

mount -r -F cdfs -o nmconv=c /dev/cdrom/c1b0t0l0 /cdrom

On all other operating systems consult the manual pages of your mount command.
